Caption: ISS Columbus Module model. Interior of a mock-up of the International Space Station's (ISS) Columbus Module at the European Space Technology and Research Centre (ESTEC), Netherlands. ESTEC is the European Space Agency's (ESA) main technology and development test centre. Columbus, measuring 7 metres long and 4.5 metres wide, is a laboratory module where science experiments are carried out in standard racks. It was launched into orbit and then attached to the ISS on 11th February 2008.
