Caption: Swiss-German theoretical physicist Albert Einstein (1879-1955, left) with the Bengali polymath Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941). Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for work on the photoelectric effect. However, he is best known for his paper on the special theory of relativity, which resulted in the famous equation E=mc2. Tangore reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His collection of poems 'Gitanjali' led him to become the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913.
