Caption: Corkscrew Anemone, Bartholomea annulata. Tentacles can be 10cm (4in.) long. The white rings are a battery of stinging cells (nematocysts) which give a mild sting if touched. Red Snapping Shrimp and Pederson Shrimp are associated with this species. Photographed in Grand Cayman.
