Caption: Heart muscle. Fluorescence deconvolution light micrograph of a section through cardiac (heart) muscle tissue, showing beta adrenoreceptors (red) between cardiac myofibrils (green). Beta adrenoreceptors respond to adrenalin, causing a sympathetic (fight or flight) response. This makes the heart beat harder when adrenalin levels rise. Magnification: x400, when printed 10 cm wide.
