Caption: Blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome. Close-up of mole-like lesions (nevi) on the neck of a 52-year-old male patient with blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome (BRBNS). BRBNS is a rare disorder producing abnormal blood vessels in the gastrointestinal tract. The venous malformations present themselves as bluish lesions most commonly found on the skin, small intestine and large bowel. It is thought that it may be hereditary and a manifestation of familiar venous malformation.
