Caption: Death row at Wyoming Frontier Prison, the former Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, Wyoming, USA. This prison opened in 1901 and closed in 1981 after housing 13,500 inmates in its 80 years of operation. Between 1901 and 1981, sixteen convicted murderers were executed in Wyoming. Eleven were executed by hanging and five by use of a gas chamber in this prison. Photographed in 2015.
