Caption: Inuit hunter butchering a seal. Inuit (Inughiut) subsistence hunter on coastal sea ice, carrying out the skinning of a recently killed ringed seal (Pusa hispida). After skinning the carcass, he will butcher the seal to provide meat for himself and his dog team. Photographed in April, near Qaanaaq, Greenland.
