Caption: Royal Palace, Phnom Penh. View of the Preah Thineang Chan Chhaya or 'Moonlight Pavilion'. This open-air pavilion is one of the notable buildings in the Royal Palace gardens and is still used for performances of Khmer classical dance. The Royal Palace and it's gardens were started in the late 19th century and completed in the early 20th century. They combine the traditions of Cambodian art with a French influence, seen mainly in the layout of the gardens. Photographed in March.
