Velociraptors were dromaeosaurid theropod dinosaurs that lived around 75 to 71 million years ago during the later part of the Cretaceous Period. Protoceratops were ceratopsid cerapod dinosaurs that lived during the Late Cretaceous period (around 100 to 66 million years ago), in what is now Mongolia.
