Caption: Cobalt hydroxide precipitate (Cu(OH)2) formed by adding few drops of a 1M solution of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to 0.2 M solution cobalt chloride (CoCl2). The reaction is CoCl2 + NaOH -> Co(OH)2 + NaCl. This is an example of a double replacement reaction.
