Caption: Copper (II) hydroxide precipitate (Cu(OH)2) formed by adding few drops of a 1M solution of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to 0.2 M solution copper chloride (CuCl2). The reaction is CuCl2 + NaOH -> Cu(OH)2 + NaCl. This is an example of a double replacement reaction.
