Caption: A nickel metal strip was immersed into a beaker containing a 0.2M copper (II) sulfate solution. Since nickel is more reactive than copper, a single-displacement reaction occurred: Ni + CuSO4 -> Cu + NiSO4. After 22 hours in the solution, the strip was removed, as seen here. Photo 5 of 5.
