Caption: A molecular model of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide), a psychedelic drug which affects a user's thought process, perceived visuals, sense of time, and may trigger synesthesia and spiritual experiences. LSD is a colourless, odourless, and tasteless compound, synthesized from a chemical found in a grain fungus grown on rye. The drug is usually taken in the form of an absorbent blotter paper, sugar cubes, gelatine, or injected with a syringe. Atoms are coloured dark gray (carbon), light gray (hydrogen), red (oxygen), and blue (nitrogen).
