Hormone replacement therapy cream. Box and tube containing estriol (oestriol) cream, marketed under the name Gynest. Estriol is one of the three main oestrogen hormones produced by the human body. This cream is used to treat atrophic vaginitis (inflammation of the vagina due to thinning and shrinking of the tissues) and kraurosis vulvae (thinning and shrinking of the vulva) caused by the menopause.
