Caption: Effervescence in space. Epic Dragon camera footage of NASA astronaut Terry Virts (born 1967) inserting an effervescent antacid tablet into a ball of water while in Earth orbit aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The Epic Dragon camera by digital cinema company RED can capture footage at very high resolutions, from conventional HDTV up to 6K. The high-resolution images and high-frame rate videos are used to aid scientific research. This footage is one of the first of its kind, with the camera and footage being evaluated by NASA engineers. This footage was released in July 2015.
