Caption: Zoadiac Adam and Eve, 18th-century illustration. This is Plate 1 and Plate 2 combined from Volume 1 of 'An universal system of natural history: including the natural history of man' (1794) by English astrologer Ebenezer Sibly (1751-c.1799). Sibly was a literal Biblical creationist who believed that God had made Man as a microcosm of creation. He also held with mystical practices verging on modern New Age beliefs. Here, zodiac properties are attributed to parts of the body.
