Caption: Hydrogen purity analysis. Researchers using a gas chromatograph (GC) analyser during a hydrogen purity analysis. The gas chromatograph separates a gas sample into individual compounds so that they can be separately detected, identified and quantified. Here, it is being used to carry out a hydrogen purity analysis using a hydrogen impurity enrichment device (HIED), a krypton tracer enrichment method.
