Caption: Space shuttle final flight. View from the Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) right intertank onboard camera of the Space Shuttle Atlantis, on the final Space Shuttle mission (STS-135), 8th July 2011. Two reusable SRBs provided the majority of thrust to launch the shuttle to an altitude of about 46 kilometres, after which the boosters burnt out. The clip shows the SRBs being jettisoned and descending back to Earth, where they parachuted into the Atlantic Ocean for recovery. Atlantis returned safely to Earth on 21st July 2011.
