Caption: 18th Century aqueduct. View of an 18th Century aqueduct that runs through Vila do Conde, Portugal. Constructed between 1705 and 1714, this aqueduct connects a spring in Terroso, Povoa de Varzim, with a fountain in the monastery of Santa Clara. It has 999 arches and runs for 4 kilometres, making it the second-longest aqueduct in the country.
