This image is part of the sequence Myopia vs. Hyperopia vision

Caption: Blurred vision caused by short-sightedness. Scene as it would appear to a long-sighted (hyperopic) person. The statue in the fore-ground is out of focus but anything further away is in focus. Long-sightedness (hyperopia or hypermetropia) is usually due to the eyeball being too short or the lens not being able to become round enough. This means near objects appear blurred. Sight can be corrected with glasses, contact lenses, or surgery. For an image showing how someone with short-sighted vision would view this scene, see C001/4103.
