Caption: Proustite, silver arsenic sulfide, is a rare but spectacular mineral, notable for its intense crimson hue. It occurs worldwide in silver mines and is considered a primary ore of silver. Excellent crystals occur in Germany and Czechoslovakia, but the finest come from Chanarcillo, in Chile.
