Caption: Two pencil lines on bond paper by SEM, which reveals cellulose fibers and particles of a filler in the white bond paper. In preliminary experiments, pencil graphite was not noticeable on the bond paper. This image was obtained by first gold-coating the bond paper and then drawing two thin lines using a sharpened HB pencil. Image width: 2560 micrometers (2.56 mm). Magnification: 39x if the image is printed 10 cm wide.
