Caption: Eye cancer. Light micrograph of a section through the wall of an eyeball, showing a retinoblastoma (blue) that is compressing the choroid (black) against the sclera (yellow). Retinoblastomas are malignant (cancerous) tumours arising from cells of the retina, the light-detecting tissue of the eye. They are the most common malignant cancer of the eye in children and are almost exclusively found in young children. Magnification: x560, when printed 10 centimetres wide.
