Caption: Mixed school of spadefish: longfin spadefish (Platax teira, longer fins) and pinnate spadefish (Platax pinnatus). The longfin spadefish is also called the tiera batfish. It can reach up to 70 centimetres in length and is found in the Indo-West Pacific. The pinnate spadefish is found in the Western Pacific, and grows to a length of 45 centimetres. Photographed in the Andaman Sea, Thailand.
