Alpine choughs are crows that live and breed at high altitudes, around 1300 to 2880 metres in Europe. They feed on invertebrates in the summer and fruit during the rest of the year. They are also found in the Atlas Mountains and the Himalayas. Gorner is the second-largest glacier in the Alps. Photographed in Switzerland.
