Caption: Tim Peake and ISS rover experiment. British astronaut Tim Peake (born 1972) at the rover control station in Europe's Columbus space laboratory on the International Space Station (ISS). Peake served as a European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut on board the ISS for 186 days between 15 December 2015 and 18 June 2016. He was part of Expedition 46 and Expedition 47 to the ISS. During his time on board the ISS, Peake performed several scientific experiments and wrote blogs, as part of his Principia mission for the ESA and the UK Space Agency.
