Caption: MODEL RELEASED. Vacuum tube solar panels assembly. Workers from a specialised installation company fitting a vacuum tube solar panel system to a roof. This type of solar panel consists of a row of tubes that are heated by the sun. Inside each tube is a second tube sealed within a vacuum. The collector fluid, which absorbs the heat from the sun, flows through the inner tubes. This system is more efficient than conventional flat panels in bad weather conditions. Photographed in Aywaille, Belgium.
