Caption: Muslim prayer times displayed on the wall of a mosque. Muslims are supposed to subscribe to the Five Pillars (practices) of Islam. One of these is the Salah, or ritual prayer. This states that every Muslim must pray five times a day. These prayer times change depending on the time of year, and this board is used to remind followers at what times they should pray. This has a clock at the top that shows the current time, and six dials below that can be adjusted to the required times. Photographed on the wall of the Jamae Mosque, Chinatown, Singapore.
