Caption: Expedition 18 landing. Soyuz TMA-13 spacecraft (left) descending to the ground by parachute after re-entry from orbit. The Soyuz capsule carried Expedition 18 Commander Michael Fincke, Flight Engineer Yury V. Lonchakov and American Spaceflight Participant Charles Simonyi. It landed on 8 April 2009, near Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan. Fincke and Lonchakov were returning after spending six months on the International Space Station. Simonyi was returning from his launch with the Expedition 19 crew members 12 days earlier.
