Caption: Saurosuchus and Hyperodapedon reptiles, illustration. Saurosuchus (background) was a crocodile-like predatory reptile that reached lengths of 7 metres. It existed 230 million years ago, during the Late Triassic. Hyperodapedon (foreground) was a beaked rhynchosaur reptile that is thought to have been herbivorous. It existed from 231 to 216 million years ago, also during the Late Triassic.
