Caption: Flumazenil benzodiazepine antagonist drug, molecular model. This drug, marketed as Anexate, is used to treat overdoses of benzodiazepine drugs, a class of sedatives that includes valium, rohypnol and temazepam. It works by competing with the benzodiazepine drug for the binding site that elicits the drug's effects. In this molecule, atoms are shown as spheres and are colour coded: carbon is light blue, hydrogen is white, nitrogen is dark blue, oxygen is red and fluorine is green.
