Caption: Flu symptoms chart. Chart showing the symptoms reported by each US Army base camp during the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic. The camp with the most severe symptoms is Shelby (left) with 15 reported, and the least severe is Dodge, with just two. The pandemic infected one fifth of the world population and killed between 20 and 50 million.
