Lesquereusia is a testate amoeba with a ovoid, slightly lateral flattened test with an asymmetrical neck. The test is composed of siliceous, curved rods with a meshwork of organic cement. Lesquereusia moves with finger-like pseudopods called lobopodia. The amoeba was found in a moor habitat where it lives between the sphagnum mosses or benthic in the detritus. Microscopic contrast method used: differential interference contrast. Captured field width: 0.4mm.
