Caption: Emma Reh (1896-1982), US journalist. Reh joined the staff of Science Service around 1924. Science Service was an organisation dedicated to informing the public of the latest scientific discoveries and achievements. Reh contributed throughout the 1930s, reporting on archaeological excavations in Mexico, as well as the social and political situation in that country. In 1935, she worked for the Soil Conservation Service and later for the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization, writing about food consumption and distribution problems.
