Caption: Faye Johannes Marley (1900-1992), US medical writer. Marley wrote on medicine for Science Service between 1960 and 1970. Science Service was an organisation dedicated to informing the public of the latest scientific discoveries and achievements. Her earlier career included working as an editor with the American Red Cross from 1943 to 1955. Marley had degrees from the University of Missouri and the University of Michigan. Photographed to mark Marley attending the Eighth International Cancer Congress in Moscow, USSR, in July 1962.
