Map of the world. Europe, Asia and Africa). The Latin title is across top. This Spanish world map was published in around 1603, in Valladolid, by Hermando de Solis (name at lower centre). The continents of North America and South America, and regions of eastern Asia and the Pacific, were still being explored by Europeans, and the exact shape and geography of these regions is not yet accurately depicted.
