Caption: Aftermath of the 2017 landslide in Mocoa, Colombia. Members of the National Penitentiary Institute remove a corpse from a house. Heavy rain in the early morning of the 1st April 2017 caused three rivers in the area to burst their banks, sending landslides towards the city of Mocoa. Whole neighbourhoods were destroyed, as poorly built housing collapsed. More than 329 people were killed, and around the same number injured. 45,000 people in total were affected. Photographed on the 4th April 2017.
