Caption: Coral reef restoration. Coral ecosystem specialists checking a metal frame that has had coral 'cuttings' attached to it as part of a 'reefscaping' project. Reefscaping involves growing small sections ('cuttings') of coral on submerged frames such as this. When they are large enough, the cuttings are transplanted to a damaged reef, helping to restore the damage. Photographed in the Maldives.
