Caption: Air raid siren. Air raid sirens were first used during the Second World War to warn people that bombs were about to be dropped. They are still used today to provide warning of approaching danger, whether in the form of bombs, hurricanes, or some other danger. This air raid siren was originally manufactured in Germany by Hermann GmbH between 1968 and 1975. Photographed in Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv, Israel.
