Caption: Slab of limestone exhibiting fossil prawns of genus Carpopenaeus callirostris, now extinct, but widespread worldwide during the Upper Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Well preserved and typical for these shrimp are the long antennae and slender legs. Found in Cenomanian (Cretaceous) deposits 95 million years old near Hajoula, Lebanon. Actual width of slab is 34 cm.
