Caption: Divers monitoring an artificial reef. Artificial reefs support and help establish plants and animals in areas of the seabed that lack an established ecosystem. These are 'Remora' artificial reefs, located in the Mediterranean Sea, near a purification station at Cape Sicie, France. These artificial reefs were placed here in 2013, as part of a project by the Veolia Foundation. Photographed in June 2016.
