Psoriasiform eczema on a man's ankle. Eczema is an inflammation of the skin accompanied by itching and blisters. Psoriasiform means psoriasis-like. In psoriasis the epidermis (outer skin layer) grows several times faster than normal, leading to the creation of hard, scaly patches on the skin. Eczema can be treated with soothing ointments and corticosteroid drugs. Photographed in India.
