Caption: Animation of the skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus rex. T. rex was a large carnivorous dinosaur which lived in what is now North America. It lived from around 68 million years ago to the extinction of the dinosaurs some 66 million years ago. It reached a length of over 12 metres, and stood nearly four metres tall at the hips, making it one of the largest carnivorous land animals known. This clip is available on a black background as K007/0862, and on a transparent background as K007/0886.
