Caption: Lucia McCulloch (1873-1955), US plant pathologist. McCulloch was an assistant pathologist in the US Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Plant Industry. Her research included crown gall and gladiolus diseases and pests. Those she worked with included botanists and plant pathologists Erwin Frink Smith and Nellie Adalesa Brown. This photograph dates from 1913.
