Caption: Vivien Kellems (1896-1975), US industrialist. Kellems co-founded Kellems Cable Grips Incorporated in 1927 with her brother. The company was based on a patent for a special grip design used in construction, electrical connections, and medicine. Kellems achieved fame as the the only woman manufacturer in the electrical industry and a popular public speaker. This photograph was distributed in 1940.
