Caption: Ninth International Congress of Psychology, 1929. This famous congress was the first in the series to be held in the USA. It was held at Yale University, Connecticut, USA, from 1-7 September 1929. At the time, it was thought that more eminent psychologists attended this meeting than any other previously held. The proceedings were published in 1930 by US psychologist James McKeen Cattell (1860-1944). This photograph was found by Watson Davis in a book once owned by entomologist Vernon Lyman Kellogg (1867-1937).
