Caption: Final Ariane 4 launch, 2003. This launch was the 116th and last of the Ariane 4 rocket. The configuration was an Ariane 44L, with four liquid strap-on boosters. It took off from Ariane Launch Complex number 2 (ELA-2) at the Guiana Space Centre, French Guiana, on 15 February 2003. The launch was named V159, and carried an Intelsat 907 international communication satellite into orbit. The satellite was carried in the payload faring on top of the rocket.
