Caption: Pterosaur flying reptile fishing technique, illustration. Pterosaurs were flying reptile that were carnivorous predators, feeding on fish (as shown here) and other small animals. They flew with wings formed from a membranous structure stretched between the ankles and a lengthened finger. These pterosaurs are Anhanguera pterodactyls, found in what is now Brazil. They lived around 112 million years ago, in the Early Cretaceous.
