Caption: Passing a hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) on a coral reef. This sea turtle is migratory and can be found throughout the tropical seas, preferring to spend its time on coral reefs, where it feeds mainly on sponges. It is critically endangered, being hunted by humans for food and for its decorative shell, as well as suffering from loss of breeding beaches and pollution. Filmed in Palau.
