Caption: Naveta d'Es Tudons chamber tomb, Menorca. The Naveta d'Es Tudons is a megalithic chamber tomb built by the pre-Talaiotic culture. It dates from around 1400 BC, and was in use as an ossuary between 1200 BC and 750 BC. Navetas are named for their upturned boat-like shape. This site is one of Menorca's major tourist attractions. Photographed in 2009.
